Mr (Dr) Ased Ali is the founder of Yorkshire Urology and a Consultant Urological Surgeon at Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust, specialising in functional and reconstructive urology, recurrent cystitis/UTIs (including biofilm-related infection), incontinence, pelvic floor dysfunction and neuro-urology. He also undertakes medico-legal work as an expert witness in urology, providing independent, evidence-based reports for both Claimant and Defendant instructions on causation, condition and prognosis, and the impact of urological injury or disease on function, continence, urinary symptoms and quality of life.
His work commonly involves urological sequelae following trauma (including road traffic accidents), neurological injury (including spinal injury), postoperative complications and complex lower urinary tract dysfunction. He is known for clear, balanced opinions grounded in the medical records and accepted clinical standards, aimed at assisting the Court and instructing parties.
